Little Sprouts — Move, Play, Grow

Little Sprouts

Privacy notice

This notice explains what we ask for when you join the Little Sprouts Club, register interest in a town, or send an enquiry, and how those details are used.

1. Who operates Little Sprouts

Little Sprouts is the brand name of a children's movement, play and learning business. The business name supplied for this draft is The Little Sprouts Group, a limited company. The exact name on the Companies House register, and the company number, have not been verified, so they are not stated here.

The correspondence address is 167–169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF. That address is for letters and privacy requests. It is not a class venue, and no classes are held there.

The website is https://little-sprouts.co.uk. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@little-sprouts.co.uk or made by calling 07442 666728.

Club registration and local interest registration are open. Joining the club or registering an interest does not create an account, book a class, or take a payment.

2. What this notice covers

The public website tells families about the programmes and the towns where classes are planned. They can join the Little Sprouts Club, ask to hear when local classes are announced, send an enquiry, or call.

The website does not create parent accounts, store passwords, take bookings or take payments. Registering an interest does not reserve a class.

3. Information we ask for

Club registration and town interest registration ask for a parent or guardian's name and email address, a postcode, the number of children (from 1 to 4), and an age group for each child. The groups are 1–2 years, 2–3 years and 3–5 years, with a separate choice if a child is outside those ages. We do not ask for a child's name or date of birth.

The same form records the page address, a campaign name if the link included one, the town and region if you came from a location page, and the class if you came from a class page. It records whether you asked for local class-availability emails, and whether you separately opted in to promotional emails.

An enquiry can include your name, email, an optional telephone number, the type of question, a preferred postcode, a message, and the class where that is relevant.

Telephone calls are not recorded by this website. What is kept from a call still has to be decided.

4. Local class notifications and optional offers

Joining the Little Sprouts Club asks you to agree to emails about Little Sprouts news, class updates and exclusive offers. That box starts unchecked, and the club form cannot be sent without it. You can unsubscribe at any time. Joining does not book a class, and it does not create a discount code.

Registering interest in a town asks you to confirm that we can email you when classes are announced near you. A separate box, unchecked unless you tick it, asks if you also want occasional emails about classes, discounts and merchandise. That choice does not guarantee a discount, a starter pack or any product.

The legal basis for these emails still needs to be confirmed. A checkbox does not by itself decide that question.

Enquiries are used to reply to the question you sent.

5. Formspree and other providers

Club registration, town interest registration and enquiry forms are delivered through Formspree at formspree.io. Formspree receives the fields on the form and passes them to Little Sprouts. Whether Formspree is a processor or a separate controller, and the contract that applies, has not been verified against Formspree's current terms. This notice does not claim a data-processing agreement is in place.

The site is not connected to Supabase and does not use Lovable Cloud. No analytics or advertising service is installed on the public pages.

Email to hello@little-sprouts.co.uk is handled by whatever email provider the business uses. That provider has not been named in this draft.

6. How long information is kept

The proposed period for early-access registration records is 12 months from the date of the request, after which they would be deleted or reviewed. This period is a proposal only. It is not approved, and no deletion procedure has been written.

How long enquiry records and any notes of telephone calls are kept is not decided. You can ask for deletion by emailing hello@little-sprouts.co.uk.

7. Security

Forms are sent over HTTPS. Access to the inbox that receives them should be limited to people who need it. This draft does not describe a security certification, an encryption standard beyond HTTPS, or a written security policy, because none has been supplied.

8. Your rights and withdrawing consent

You can ask for a copy of your information, for it to be corrected or deleted, for some uses to be restricted, and, where the law provides it, for a portable copy. You can object to some uses. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@little-sprouts.co.uk or by using any unsubscribe link in a message we send. Withdrawing consent does not affect a message already sent.

We will need to check that a request comes from you, or from someone allowed to act for you.

9. International transfers

Formspree, the website host or the email provider may store or access information outside the UK. That has not been checked. If a transfer outside the UK happens, the safeguard — such as an adequacy regulation or the current standard contractual clauses — has to be identified before this notice is approved. This draft does not claim any safeguard is in place.

10. Cookies

The public website code does not set analytics or advertising cookies. A sidebar preference cookie exists in an unused design-system component and is not set on these pages. See the draft cookies notice for the audit.

The Little Sprouts Club reminder stores one entry for that browser tab so it is not shown again after it has been shown or closed. That entry is cleared when the tab closes. It is not an analytics or advertising cookie.

11. Complaints

Please contact hello@little-sprouts.co.uk or call 07442 666728 first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Little Sprouts' own ICO registration number has not been confirmed, so it is not shown here.

12. What still needs approval

Still to be confirmed before this notice can be approved: the exact registered company name and Companies House number, the ICO registration number, Formspree's role and where it stores submissions, any international-transfer safeguard, and written approval of the proposed 12-month retention period. The supplied business name is The Little Sprouts Group. It is a limited company. "Ltd" has not been added because the registered name has not been verified.
